The national health surveillance system for shellfish farming areas is made up of:

  • REPHY: phytoplankton, physico-chemical parameters in water and phycotoxins in shellfish
  • REMI: microbiological in shellfish
  • MYTILOBS: Blue mussel, Mytilus edulis, growth and quality
  • REPAMO: mollusc pathologies
  • RESCO: pathogenic organisms of hollow oysters Crassostrea gigas

These monitoring networks have been set up by Ifremer.
