Scientific Expertise Consortium

The ODATIS Ocean cluster relies on Scientific Expertise Consortia (CES / SEC) to promote and enhance innovative processing methods and products for spatial, airborne or in-situ observation of the ocean and its interfaces (atmosphere, coast and sub-sea) with the other data clusters (AERIS, THEIA and FORMATER).

Scientific Expertise Consortia focus on one value-added product.

Scientific Expertise Consortia are groups of public or private stakeholders conducting research or developing innovative methods for mobilising observational data, and able to ensure the production of value-added product prototypes, or the operation of these prototypes to produce specific data on ocean issues (coastal or offshore), around thematic topics (physical, chemical and biological processes, ecosystems, ocean/atmosphere exchanges, global approaches, sustainable resource exploitation, etc.) to meet the societal and environmental challenges of our times.
